Pierce Brosnan is in a couple of movies due this year. One of them, titled “The Ghost Writer” has been green lit for a release date of February 19th, one week after the debut of The Lightning Thief! There’s also a brand new trailer!…..In German. So for all those who understand German will really enjoy this new trailer.

It looks like a pretty cool flick. What do you think? Do you think it will take over The Lightning Thief as the Box Office success of the Feb 19th weekend? Or will The Lightning Thief stay strong? There isn’t any movie posters yet, or even a English trailer that I can find, but when I do I will certainly post it! I’m glad it will be released soon, especially that it is finished even after the Director Roman Polanski was arrested.

Summit Entertainment announced a February 19 release date today for The Ghost Writer, the latest joint from house-arrested auteur Roman Polanski, completed on location in his adorable Swiss chalet.

And if this and Switzerland’s soon-forthcoming decision about Polanski’s possible extradition to the U.S. weren’t exciting enough, the film has a brand-new German-language trailer! Ghost stars Ewan McGregor as a guy helping Pierce Brosnan, a recently ousted British Prime Minister, write his memoirs. In this masterfully dubbed footage, characters take baths, run away from things, and get accused of war crimes. Also featured: Kim Cattrall and lots of angry whispering. Looks good to us.
