    I heard medusa was actually very pretty but claimed to be the pretiest girl of all time so her hair got turned into snakes.Which is why people would turn to stone,because she was so ugly.JK

    Ummmmm,wrong. Medusa was beautiful but she was dating Posidon in Athena's temple so Athena made her so ugly that anyone who looked at her turned to stone. That's how it really happened.
