the film was ok but alot of the things in the book were not in the film. And you should produce the next film like the book and ask rick what he wants in the film.  And i agree with JBS254 that clarisse is not in it. You should redo the film AND MAKE IT LONGER AND BETTER THAN THE LAST ONE!!!!

I wish I could have walked up to the script writers and slapped them! They can't even make a second movie because of how much info the threw away in the this one!!! Totally mad at Annabeth being a brunette and the story so off road!

The "Sea of Monsters" movie will be coming out in 2013 so everyone calm down :)  but the movie was great by itself.  Coresponding with the book it was horrible. The three pearls are all in Hades anyway, not scattered across the country.  The movie was great as an individual, but not when its compared to the book. The book is always better. This series is an amazing book series, maybe they are just editing the movie to make it somewhat of an original story line? Who knows?

i can't understand how u dislike this movie!! it was more than amazing!!!!! and yeah.. in the movie ...the actor was older..... THAT'S BECAUSE NO 12 YEAR-OLD KID CAN DO STUNTS IN A MOVIE LIKE THAT!! ...Hahaha !!!you guys make it so easy to find a green-eyed kid and a blonde gir who r good at acting and do various stuntsl !! and even though the movie lacked the presence of clarisse and ares, it had other epic moments!!! jeez... why can't you look on the brighter side before judging the movie !! and if they filmed it like it happened in the story it would take them a century to finish it!!!!  and i'm damn sure that the upcoming movie for this series will be 100 times better than this one!

this movie is a criticizum to the whole seris. the have a stupid clicky pen and a brunette annabeth and TENTS  for cabins and theres no clarrise, dyonisis, or anyone good. I BET THE SCRIPT WRITER DIDN'T EVEN READ THE BOOK! HE PRBABLY JUST FLIPPED THROUGH IT AND WAS LIKE" ok annabeth, sowerdy pen thing, camp, halfblood, percy jackson ect. I MEAN IF IT WERE UP TO ME I WOULD HAVE MADE "EVERYTHING" FROM THE BOOK IN IN1 STUPIDEST MOVIE EVER! like if u agree! :D

i loved the books sooo much and i also loved the film, i dont care that they made mistakes through the actors aprearances the story line was great and i thourly enjoyed the film it was brilliant, the effects were amazing and hands down they did a fantastic job. I know they could have included some more of the charactors and everything but its just another film and films shouldnt be compared to the books. If you don't like the film then shut up and let other people enjoy it, if you don't like it why are you looking percy jackson stuff in the FIRST PLACE okay thank-you! XXXXXX

I watched the movie first and I absolutely loved it! Then I decided to read the book and I slowly found out that the book was totally different. But since I watched the movie first, I think that's why I'm not as angry about them messing it up as some people are. I am a fan!

There should be a second because I read all the books before the movie started advertising and there should be more films it should do one to six or seven in harry potters case it could be even bigger.

Percy Jackson is the hit series! Rick Riordan has crazy talent being able to write this well. So great job Rick and keep it up!

Has anyone seen the Deathly Hallow part 1 yet? Its in theters and me and my sis are going to see it in 3D or whatever but the 2nd part doesn't come out till July! I finished they last Harry Potter book yesterday and I cried literally all day, like actually tears... I was soaked with them! It was so happy and sad! They killed most of my favorite charters though and I never really liked Harry and Ginny together but it was still really good though and I loved it! So anyway does anyone know if it is like the book? the 1-6 are like them for the most part but if any of them need to be just right its this one! I can't wait but I'm gonna end up being a wimp and crying through the whole thing though... oh, well... I DON"T CARE!!!!!! WAAAAHHHHHAAA SO SAD!!!!!!!

The Percy Jackson Series is defintly the best from Rick Riordan. Makeing the movie just made it 10x better.!

JUST TO NAME A FEW problems for those of you I said I'd post again: Chiron's gotta be a white horse, they're way to old, they don't go looking for the pearls, the nerid gives them them in the Santa Monica bay, Hades Isn't really suppose to be bad, Persephone suppose isn't in it, not one mention of the great prophecy, Luke didn't want the bolt for himself, Luke didn't use a scorpion, Grover's not suppose to be African American, or have crutches, Sally looks wrong, annabeth looked wrong, Percy can't heal annabeth, he's not an Apollo hid for crying out loud!, no hellhouind, no EZ death line, they aren't suppose to know who his dad is, Luke's cabin is a tent and it's not shared w/ anyone, Percy cabin is like a pavilion, his dad didn't make it for him, Annbeth had an awful attitude, nothing like her,Hades isn't suppose to appear in the campfire, the campfire didn't change color, he and annabeth aren't together and aren't 17, he's suppose to use a crystal ball to fight Medusa not and itouch, the Greek letters don't just "make sense"to him all of a sudden,they never go to the Parthenon in the book, they didn't consult the oracle, the throne room in Olympus is suppose to look different, the god are suppose to be dressed casually, and Poseidon doesn't have Blond hair and brown eyes! AND MORE BUT i'M GETTING TIRED OF TYPING SO MANY!

THE MOVIE WAS AWFUL!! i think they should remake it with actors who are 12/13 years old so they can make the whole series with the same people that wont grow too old, right? they should also include clarisse, make the gods like they are in the book (e.g. poseidon in bermuda shorts), make annabeth have blonde hair and make their quest like it is in the book!! not some dumb treasure trail hunting for pearls. dont get me wrong, i love the PJ series, just the movie was a fail.

If you want all the minor gods though, that goes on and on because they had so many but there's a few I'll name for you. Khione, goddess of snow, Boreas, her father who was the North wind god, Aeolus is the technical wind god though and he's Poseidon's son, but their is also a god for all 4 directions of the wind, there's Zephyrus, the west wind, Notus the south wind, and Euros, the East wind.Then Asclepius, the god of healing and medicine, Persephone, Hades wife and goddess of spring time, Demeter, the goddess of agriculture, Hecate, goddess of magic, and Pan, god of the wild, and also Proteus, Triton, Doris, Amphitrite, Thetis, Styx, and Dione who were all minor sea gods and goddesses.Then a couple minor sky gods and goddess were Helius, Selene, Eos, and Aeolus. Then a few more, (mostly from or living in the Underworld), are Metis, Nemesis, Horae, Moerae,(Fates), Erinyes, (Furies), Thanatos, Hypnos, Morpheus, Tyche, Nike, Paeëon, and Asclepius.
