The Lightning Thief movie has hit the $200 million mark at last! According to Boxofficemojo it has made about $202 million which is awesome because many have said that the $200 million mark was the deciding factor whether or not the series continued on film.

So we should hopefully be hearing news for The Sea of Monsters in development soon!!

Well good news guys because 20th century fox announced last week that they are going ahead with the sea of monsters. They said that shooting could be as early as this summer and have already hired new script writers and Chris Columbus will not direct but will stay on to produce. Hopefully they will stick to the script more!
