I love the Percy Jackson series.I read all the books in about 18 days.I really want the next movie to come out so bad.

I hadn't read the books, but I decided to watch the film with my boyfriend, and I loved it!

Ok so it's a tried and tested story, but with characters I could actually assume to be real. I feel sorry for lovers of the book, becuas ein no way could it have matched the book – films form books always are a let down.

I would definately go see a sequel.

but it wouldn't have been hard to stick to some of the basics, like how annabeths hair is blond not brown. and how percy is 12 not like 14 or 15… i dont even think they have the cabins there. yeah they had places to live, but it… it just wasnt right.

I totally agree with you. In the movie Percy is at least 14 maybe 15 but in the book he was 12. Of course in the first novle Rick doesn't mention the “Great Prophcy” but if you read further then you will notice that Percy's age makes a difference. Since he is older in the movie, if there is even a slight chance that you are going to stick to the Kronos thing then alot is going to have to be squeezed in in a short amount of time. :S

When I try and read, I cant really stay focused on it much. So, when I saw the very first trailor for this movie, it didnt show much, so I didnt really want to watch it. But, when I got home, I decided to look it up. I was able to read a little about it and watch longer trailors and figured it was something I could really be interested in, since I love greek mythology. I watched it with some friends about a week after it came out, and I have to say, I loved every minute of it! I do hope that you continue and make a sequel! I would definatly go and watch it!
