We counted down to the blue-ray release and have watched it so many times already, and continue to love it... then I read the book today. My opinion is that if the movie had stuck with the book, Harry Potter have been blown out of the water! I am terribly sad that Ares was left out as well. What a fun character! If there are future movies (which I am hoping for) there are sure to be a lot of "flashing back" scenes which may get to be a bit much. But regardless, the movie was fabulous, looking forward to more, and hey, movies are never as good as the book anyway... right?
